Alpengau, officially the Federal Republic of Alpengau, is a country in the north east of Andolia, partially lying in the South Scalpe Mountains. It is a federation of NUMBER states. The country is bordered by the Dolfik Kingsrike in the west, Pargesia in the north, and Strutan to the east. It occupies an area of AREA km2 (AREA sq mi) and has a population of 30 million.

Alpengau currently produces more than half of its electricity by hydropower. Together with other renewable energy sources such as wind, solar and biomass powerplants, the electricity supply from renewable energy amounts to 69% of total use in Alpengau. Nuclear power accounts for 21% of produced power from three nuclear power plants in the nation. Rest of the supply of power is supplied by fossil fuel power plants
