The Demitorian Defense Forces are the military arm of the Government of [[Demitor]].

The Demitorian Defense Forces are the military arm of the Government of [[Demitor]]. It consists of five major services: The [[Air Force of Demitor|Air Force]], [[Army of Demitor|Army]], [[Navy of Demitor|Navy]], [[Border Troops of Demitor|Border Troops]], and the [[Air Defense Service of Demitor|Air Defense Service]]. The Demitorian National Guard is made up of a few different agencies; the [[Highway Police of Demitor|Highway Police]], [[State Fire Service of Demitor|State Fire Service]], [[State Emergency Medical Agency of Demitor|State Emergency Medical Agency]] and the [[Gendarme of Demitor| Genadarme]]. It is the main body for everything concerning emergency response, with only the Civil Security Agency Police being there for civil policing duties as well. The National Guard is technically under the Ministry of the Interior, but functionally operates with input from the Ministry of Defense and National Preservation. The two Ministries formed the [[Joint Public Safety Board of Demitor|Joint Public Safety Board]] to handle civil administration of public safety functions of the National Guard agencies. National Guard formations can be nationalized and called into active military service whenever there is a order given by the [[State Affairs Commission of Demitor||State Affairs Commission]]. However, civil defense, firefighting/medical, and some policing units can only be nationalized under the [[Wartime Emergencies and Civil Security Reform Act of 2019]].
