Baydor official called the Federal Kingdom of Baydor is a nation located on the nutonic coast and the west Cancodian region. It borders Pargestia to the south and to the north it boarders Vrijerland. Baydor is made up of 16 dutchies and covers a land area of 300,700sq miles. Major cities include Portstone, Polgrad, Donzig, Kralggrad, Kowlin, and Akborg. The nations nation language is Baydorian..

Etymology

The word Baydor comes from an exonym for a tribal people who inhabited a large part of the country in ancient times and traded with outside powers. When the crusades happened the kingdom of Baydor was formally created.

Baydor is located in the west Cancodia along the Nuntic coast, close to the equator giving it a warm climate. The country is mostly made up of tropical grass lands with higher elevation in the east of the nation and the Pagar forest in the north. Laws are made by the parliament and are then sent to the house of lords to be passed who then sends it to the king to approve of the new law. The Prime minister is able to propose laws to be voted on in parliament as well as the house of lord who proposes laws to the parliament thought the viceroy of the house (who is elected by the lords). There are currently 826 seats in parliament and 512 seats in the house of lords with 1120 seats in the house of merit.

King Leopold 2nd is (1887-1956) was a vocal critic of the Duchy of Baydor's relation with Dolfikland and of the ethnical Dolfik part's of the nobility. King Leopold would be corrinated King in 1933 and became prime minister for life in the same year.

Baydor population as of 2020 was 43.4 million people making it the most populated state in the lorbic region. It population density is higher than the international average with 107 people per kilometre squared with 20% of the population living in the 6 largest cites. The Anglish is taught as a second language in all secondary schools in Baydor with Anglish fluency being the highest in the world (for country who speak it as a second language) around 90% of the population can fluently speak Anglish as a second language and as a result the Dolfik communities have felt free to speak their first language how ever this started to stop in the 70's ND 80's due to anti-dolfik terrorist.

Baydorian is part of the Mlorbic language family however it is only distantly related to other Mlorbic languages and is better described as a lorbic language. Baydorian is distinctive from Anglish and Anderian. The proto lorbic was one of the first written languages in kerbin with the first record written arounds being around 2000bc, despite lasting a long time the lorbic language in Andolia would began to change over the centuries from its Mlorbic origins due to being disconnected from the other continent as well as influence from the Dolfik language family. By 800Bc thanks to Dolfik migrations, the proto lorbic language died out and was replaced with the old-lorbic language. in the 400Ad the fist record's of modern day lorbic otherwise called Old-Baydorian. By the 13th century the Baydorian language had been formed.

Religion

Baydor has been historically Christian with the first Christian Dutchy emerging around 900 ad after the baptism of Baydor when Duke Musian 1st converted to Christianity. In 2015 a census revelled that 87.1% of the country identifies as Catholic Christian with 2.8% identifying as Pegan, 5.3% being jewish and the rest identifying as atheist or not answering at all. Historically speaking the catholic Church has always been strong in the eastern and northern parts of Baydor ever since the religion was introduced however in the early day's of Christianity.

Before the introduction of Christianity, lorbic tribes practises pagan belief other wise know as "native" religions. In the 19th century saw the rise of nationalism with the goal of unifying the Baydorian people what eventually lead to the formation of the Grand dutchy of Baydor. Despite Dolfikland efforts to replace Baydori culture, this period saw a massive back lash to dolfikisation and as a result this became a golden era for Baydorian culture. However By the turn of the 20th century Dolfikland used more aggressive methods to try to replace Baydor's culture and in these effort encouraged lorbic dolfic's artist but many of these artisans where nationalist so continued the Baydorian cultural golden age. Many lorbic baydorian artis and other lorbic members of the cultural elite fled the nation during these lockdowns and continued there work. After the end of Dolfikland's rule.
