The word Baydor gots its roots in the name Byadonic first used by Dolfik travels in the region to associate with the tribes and dutchy's who would be willing it interacts with them while the more isolationist tribes lorbic tribes kept the name they called them self. The name over time would change to Byadoric probably due to it being easier to say in Lorbic and eventually in become Baydor with the first used of Baydor being in 200BC.

The word Baydor comes from an exonym for a tribal people who inhabited a large part of the country in ancient times and traded with outside powers. When the crusades happened the kingdom of Baydor was formally created.

 

Baydor is considered a Kingdom after the restoration of the monarchy in 1940, this happened after a nation wide referendum. Historically speaking Kingdoms have been relatively rare in the history of Baydor, while there have been king in Baydor for centuries and even King of Baydor most the time these where unique one of situation or short lived. The title king of Baydor has been round since the 9th century however these King usually just held ceremonial titles. Most the power remained the the Dukes and Duchy's who would via for the favour of the King to get him to live in Baydor and grant them titles and prestige. The title grand Dutchy is usually only given by the king of Baydor or the pope and there is usally only one but there can be and has been multiple at one time. The title grand Dutchy of Baydor out ranks any other grand dutchy. The last Grand dutchy of Baydor was created in 1869 by king Jackson 1st who was put on the throne by Dolfik noble men. The grand dutchy of Baydor would eventually unite the rest of Baydor and finally be dissolved in 1927 with the surrender of the Empire of Dolfikland. Prince Leopold, 1st in line to the throne wanted to bring back a monarchy who was strong and independent of Dolfikland and other foreign powers and after years of waiting got crowned king. The title of Kingdom was choice instead of grand dutchy because of the former had connotations of Dolfik occupation and tyranny. As well as that the dukes and lords of Baydor had agreed to vote to make the nation a kingdom (what was a legal requirement) and it also meant that west Baydor could not take the title and thus Baydor would out rank them.

Baydors geography is defined by the Cean Dragon mountain range what splits up the moist coastal areas and the dry inland areas. The average image of Baydor's country side is of a flat field, lightly rolling hills and forest's. 2.87% of Baydors territory is water, most of it from the Teutomus river what starts near the boarder with west Baydor and goes down into the bay of Teutomus.

Baydor is located in the west Cancodia along the Nuntic coast, close to the equator giving it a warm climate. The country is mostly made up of tropical grass lands with higher elevation in the east of the nation and the Pagar forest in the north. The country has several important rivers most importantly the Nesila river in the north and the Mavi and Nehak in the south.

 

The north western the coast with the Dolfik sea spans from Dorndask bay's to the nordania coast and is covered with beaches as well as Bays and natural harbours.  While the more western coast in the Cean coast line has more rough and touches the Enaminic ocean.  

 

The central and southern most parts of the country are covered by the North lorbic low lands and are part of the great west andolian planes. In the south eastern part of the nation a small parts of the Kazum mountain's can be seen and they host the highest peak in the entire country, on the top of mount Lazem.

Baydor is host to a great range of biodiversity with successive government's maintaining a police of conservation and maintianing Baydor innate natural beauty. Baydor has the highest population of the rare Andolian Bison as well as other wild species like the grey wolf, lynx, brown bear, red fox, badger, wild boar, moose, red deer, roe deer, beaver, otter, grey seal, and ringed seal. Game animals such as red deer, roe deer and wild boar are found in most woodlands. Eastern Poland abounds in ancient woods, like the lowieza Forest, that have not been disturbed by human or industrial activity. There are also large forested areas in the mountains, Greater Baydor, nordania, lorbica Land and Lower axondor .

In the south of the nation is the Einduz plains what is a tropical grassland,  parts of the Einduz are mad up of lush bushes of tress whilst other parts are farm lands. The Einduz has most amount of cities in the country even though the larger and more important ones are in the north.

The north on the over hand has lush tropical forest.

Baydor has 73,000 active army personnel and 30,000 reserve personnel. 750,000 reserve conscripts. Baydor operates 235 challenger 2's and 92 challenger 1 (upgraded Dragoon 2) as well as 282 centurion (designated as Dragoon 1). 920 worrier IFV, 700 m1 wolverine IFV (domestically produced) and 56 AHS Krab (domesticaly produced). Baydor main rifle is the G3 assault rifle made in Baydor. The Baydorian military is split into 3 branches, the Armia Royal, Baydor royal marine, Royal national Airforce. Baydorian special forces are world renowned comprising of Mariniers korps(naval special forces), Air Kommando korp (air force special forces) and the Royal ranger korp (army special forces). The Baydorian military can date back to the unification of Baydor in in the 19th century however after the defeat in the great war the military war reorganised and then again reorganised when the communist party came to power. The army would be re organised the last time in 1938 to be more represented of Baydors old military tradition pre unification. Conscripts do there nation services by helping in Domestic development and taking part in military exercises. All gun owners under 40 years are legally obliged to take lessons on unconventual war fare as well as to help resisted any foreign invasion. In an event of an emergency all Baydor could mobilise up to 4.5 million conscripts with the government having stock piles of weapons to mobilise its population. Baydor's military has on going operations in Aprezye and Suroig as well conduction military exercises with Dolfikland and other CODET members.
