The Archdiocese of Agios, more commonly referred to as Agios, is an [[Serrian Foreign Dependencies|overseas Archdiocese]] located on the island of Agios in Icaria. Agios is well known for its very high standards of living, and unique hybrid Serrian-Icarian culture that it shares with [[Paros|Paros]] which attracts millions of tourists a year from all over the world. Unlike [[Serria|Metropolitan Serria]], Agios' older sections are in the [[Ithaka|Ithakan]] style and there are several ancient Icarian temples that are now used as [[Catholic|Catholic]] churches. Unique among Serrian Archioceses, Agios jointly funds its own branch of the Serrian Armed Forces with the city of [[Altena|Altena]], known as the Agios Militia which has been deployed around the world in support of humanitarian operations. The Agios Militia is organised into two main branches, The Agios Militia Army and the Agios Militia Air Self Defence Force, with 32,000 regulars and 100,000 active reserve personnel, and has a budget of $6 billion that is jointly funded by Agios and Altena. The Agios Militia has been deployed in support of several humanitarian crises around the world, including the gassing of Ithaka and assisting refugees and aid stations in Icaria.
