Baydor has a large range of literary pieces shaped by the history in witch they where written in and society at the time. Due to the large  numbers of speaker in Baydor particularly in the upper classes ,it is not rare for piaces to be written in anglish and as a result many Baydorian writers have gained fame world wide, being read widely in Dolfikland.

The first written records in Baydor date back to the 10th century bc using the lorbic language, however the first recorded of written Baydorian originate from around 900 ad. In the 19th and early 20th century many novelist would go out of there way to write in Baydorian instead of Anglish to protest the Dolfik attempts to replace Baydorian culture. The 19th century in particular was a time of nationalism across Baydor as many people sort to deffend there culture form being replaced by outside forces, this result in a cultural underground and a massive increases in baydorian literary. This resulted in Baydorian classic like Bygoun Das die and lut zandar,books about heroic baydorian's who defend their homes agents foriegn foes.

In the 1990s and 70s there where many poems and books written about the blood shed happening in the streets of Baydor. Today popular genres like crime and historical fiction sell well.
