The region of Baydor use to be inhabited by lorbic tribes up in till the Baydorian invasions from 446-500 when the Baydorian tribes united into a cohesive group. After the invasions the Baydorian tribes settled down and formed separate states. These Pegan would come to an end around 1000ad when one of the northern most duchies turned to Christianity, forming the Grand dutchy of Baydor. The grand dutchy would try and spread Christianity to the other duchies in the area and absorbing them into the realm. While they would have some success, by 1150 it became apparent that it would need to change its strategy and get help. Thus a holy order was formed, the lorbic knight's, who came mostly from Dolfikland to help the crusade. By 1274 western andolia was under christian rule with the grand duchy greatly expanding it territory, however lands got from the lorbic knights would become the Lorbic order a theocratic state who refused to bow to the king of Baydor. This result in the Baydorian- lorbic war in 1511.
