Unique among Serrian Archdioceses, Agios along with Paros funds its own branch of the Serrian military which specialises in the defence of Serrian Dependencies in the Mauralin region. The Agios Militia is organised into two main branches, the Agios Militia Army and the Agios Militia Air Self Defence Force, with 24,300 members in total, and has a budget of $6 billion that is jointly funded by Agios, Altena and since 2021, the Paros Archipelago. The Agios Militia has been deployed in support of several humanitarian crises around the world, including the gassing of Ithaka and assisting refugees and aid stations in Icaria.
