Baydor is a constitutional monarchy with the monarch as the official head of state who holds mostly only ceremonial powers while most the power is held in the hand of the prime minister. The prime minister is voted every 4 years using a proportional retentive system. The current prime minister, Jacob Hutsman won with a 53.2% majority in the 2021 election running for the NWP party.

The prime minister is voted every 4 years using a proportional retentive system. The current prime minister, Caroline Calmes who won with a 53.2% majority in the 2021 election running for the Konservative party. The current chancellor is Klaus Von Muller.

Laws are made by the parliament and are then sent to the house of lords to be passed who then sends it to the king to approve of the new law.

The Prime minister is able to propose laws to be voted on in parliament as well as the house of lord who proposes laws to the parliament thought the viceroy of the house (who is elected by the lords). There are currently 826 seats in parliament and 212 seats in the house of lords.
